I have the honour to refer to
(3) '49 your despatch No. 217 of the 13th
on
September, 1949 concerning certain questions which have arisen in connection with grants of Crown Lands, and to inform you that, with the concurrence of Executive Council, I agree with the amendment of Article XIII of the Letters Patent which you propose.

I should be grateful if this amendment could be effected at an early date to enable legislation to be introduced in Legislative Council.
